This is some of my artwork. Not all of it will be on the website.
All of these pictures I have composed during my last four years of High School. Each painting or picture has a story or inspiration behind it.

Pelvic Bone with sunset
This painting was inspired by the painter O'Keefe. She is known for her use of bones in her artwork. |
The back of a car (in case you couldn't tell)
This is a good example of Pop Art from the 1920s. This style was used by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. |

Soledosa = Lonely
This picture is of no particular artstyle but my own. I drew this crayon picture over the summer when I was very lonely. It is one of my favorites because it has so much emotion behind it, even if it is not one of my best artworks. |
Kofi Annan- UN Chief
A little up close and personal. This charcoal piece is a favorite as well because charcoal is one of my favorite mediums. My mom hates this one. She's like, "why did you draw a picture of some black guy's nose?!" "its so ugly to look at" and so on. But artwork isn't always supposed to be beautiful.

Equestrian Olympics- Sydney 2000
The goal of this assignment was to portray an event in the Sydney 2000 Olympics. I chose the equestrian events. The picture has a bad glare on the left, sorry. But I wanted the main focus of this oil pastel piece to be the horse because to me, the horse works the hardest. The trainer also works very hard, but in the actual event, everything is up to the beautiful beast. |
Seashells
Three seashells drawn in ink. The objective of this assignment was to create art out of moving lines without outlining the object that was being drawn.

Sports Equipment
This is one of the first official of many drawing assignments that I did in art in High School. This pencil drawing was focused on creating values with only one pencil hardness level. |
